Wuraola Laly is a finance and accounting expert with extensive experience in financial reporting, management accounting, treasury management, taxation, and financial statement preparation. Before joining AEDC, she spent over seven years at KPMG Professional Services, providing auditing and advisory services in the power, utilities, and oil and gas sectors, and ensuring compliance with IFRS. At KPMG, she also handled internal control reviews, risk mitigation, and business combination reviews. In 2020, Wuraola joined AEDC as a Senior Manager in Finance Operations, rising to Head of Financial Control in 2022 and currently serving as Acting Chief Financial Officer. She holds a B.Sc/Ed. in Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
