Ibem Idika is a renowned global HR expert with over 20 years of experience in Organization Design/Development and Human Capital Development. As the Head of Human Resources at Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc. (AEDC), he leverages his extensive background in sectors including Public Sector, NGO, ICT, Telecoms, couriers, Power utilities, Consulting, and Real Estate.
Before joining AEDC, Ibem was General Manager of Corporate Services at Fortune Global Shipping & Logistics Nigeria Ltd and founding Director at SPEED Consulting Limited, where he specialized in HR development, technology advisory, and training. His career also includes leadership roles at Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company, Afribank Estate Co Ltd, Maple Group, SystemSpecs, Leading Edge Consulting, and SCG Consulting.

Ibem played a key role in developing a competency matrix for Nigeria’s Electricity Distribution sector and has trained numerous HR professionals. He has been recognized by the World HRD Congress as a top global HR leader and listed among the top 40 HR professionals by PeopleHum.
A Geography graduate from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Ibem is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management, the Nigerian Institute for Training and Development, and the Society for Corporate Governance.
